2007 - View the best of the Bombay Sapphire Design Award in Perth.

For those people in WA not too busy uncovering previous gems and iron ore and keen to discover the most significant design award in Australia, Form is hosting the he Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award Exhibition 2006.
The Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award Exhibition 2006 is a must-see showcase of some of the most exciting emerging designers in Australia. Presented in Western Australia by FORM Contemporary Craft and Design, and part of the Object Gallery touring exhibition series, the exhibition provides an exclusive insight into current trends and innovation in the Australian design sector.

An essential event on Perth’s cultural calendar, the exhibition presents the final designs selected for the prestigious 2006 Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award, including Charles Wilson’s winning design, Spool. The much anticipated Perth leg of the exhibition takes place at FORM Contemporary Craft and Design and will be opened on Friday February 2 at 6:00pm by the Hon Francis M Logan, Minister for Energy; Resources; Industry and Enterprise.

Featured designers include Lana Alsamir, Trent Janson, Stuart McFarlane and Henry Wilson. All design objects exhibited are intriguing and inspired, covering topics as varied as lighting design, chess, furniture and time-pieces.

The Bombay Sapphire Design Discovery Award Exhibition 2006 will be showing at FORM Contemporary Craft and Design from February 2 until April 21, 2007.
